Apple Cinnamon & Quinoa Porridge - The perfect warm breakfast

One of my favourite fall recipes and it’s only 3 ingredients!!

What you’ll need:

1/2 cup of quinoa

2 large apples (peel, core, and chop into bite size pieces)

2 tsp of cinnamon

Maple syrup (optional)

1 1/2 cups of water (okay so technically 4 ingredients )

Add water, quinoa, and apples in a pot and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 20-25 minutes.

Stir in cinnamon and you’ve got a warm, comforting and healthy breakfast!

Apples are packed with antioxidants and fibre! This means they are great for digestion, detoxification, and can lower your risk of cardiovascular disease, diabetes and colon cancer.

You’re also getting complete protein from the quinoa and blood sugar regulation from the cinnamon!
